(First, I've been anxiously waiting xover day just for this fic.)

I've read two Smallville fics in my fandom life. One horrified me, and then there was Connection. I liked the author, and the pairing sounded interesting. I thought to myself, "I love Lex. He's that slick, misunderstood bad guy. I love Krycek. Why not together?" and I wasn't disappointed this time.

As usual, Sleeps With Coyotes weaves a great tale, the language and rhythm of it easing you along, imagining the scene perfectly. The characterization of both men is great, including a nice background of Lex, but SWC really pins down Alex. This story sports my favorite Krycek line I've ever read. It also has a fascinating look at Krycek's nine lives and just how the meteors of Smallville changed both men.
