Because, quite simply, it's gorgeously written. In 442 carefully chosen words, the story is funny and sweet and lyrical and dreamy and wistful and gorgeous and above all, it is hopeful and a little bit sad. Her characters are engaging and the story's crafted in such a way that the mundane suddenly becomes the beautiful: it's all about the stolen moments and the feeling that you're left with, how you wish the moment that the characters are in could go on for them forever.
