How Watson Learned the Trick by Arthur Conan Doyle (G)

Fandom: SHERLOCK HOLMES
Pairing: none
Subcategory: humor
Author on LJ: nope
Author Website: nope

Why this must be read:

I thought I'd post this little oddity for fans of the Doyle Holmes and then return to slash.

In my initial post this month I mentioned that many writers have done parodies and pastiches of the canon.  Unfortunately they are very hard to find on the web -- most of the ones I know are in print format.

However,  Sir Arthur was not above doing them himself. This is one of his pastiches.  See what happened in 1922 when Doyle, who was heartedly sick of the characters, got to make fun of Watson.

1822? That can't be right. 1922?

Hee! (I've come over from the MFU community.) It's always a delight to see the creator satirize himself; thanks for sharing this little gem :)
