A Hundred and Forty-Eight, by Moondroplette (G)
Fandom: STARSKY & HUTCH
Pairing: Technically none, but the love is there regardless!

Why this must be read:
It's hard to write in the present tense - or rather, it's hard to write well in the present tense. Moondroplette has risen to the occasion beautifully in this small story. The title refers to a moment in "Plague" when Hutch talks about living to a hundred and forty-eight, but you don't need to have seen the episode to appreciate or understand this story. It's complete in itself.
This story is about love, written in a style that's gently understated and delicately handled.
