I'm sorry for being so late. But here I am now, so forgive me? *pleading look*

Why this must be read: I love this story because it's a great example of how saying less can be more. It also does a wonderful job of mixing humor and angst. But most of all, I love the fact that Elijah is losing it. :)~


Elijah first sees it in his last week at the New York Apartment.
It is between his orange shirt and his brown jacket. It is above his ragged Vans with frayed shoelaces and gaping holes and soles that must have been white at sometime but are now an indistinct muddy greyish-brown.
He walks in and out of the closet several times. The first time he comes back in, it’s still there.
The second time, it’s still there.
The sixteenth time, it’s still there.
At seventeen it becomes fact. And the fact is:
There is a black hole in Elijah’s closet.
Between his orange shirt and his brown jacket.

Well, I guess I did. The only thing is, I want the Further Adventures With Blank, but I guess I'm not going to get that. I'm going to check out the rest of this author's stuff. The scary thing is that I could so see myself in Elijah's place. My favorite parts were the possible future colors of the hole and the feeding it wantons. Made me want my own Blank. I really like this author's style.

The verdict is that you should continue to rec the Weird, because the Weird is cool. If only to cater to my needs. ;) Thanks for your post.
