This is a multi-fandom vid rather than a crossover, but I got permission to bend the category here, so! Mary Crawford's vids have a characteristic visual fluidity, a feeling of kinetic energy combined with smooth inevitability that carries you along euphorically to the end. If ONLY the same could be said for Brett's dancing. *cries* No clips of the... disco incident... are included here, though. In fact, there isn't much Persuaders content in this vid, but that's still far more than the usual zero, and the vid is tons of fun in and of itself, combining clips ranging from classic movies to modern TV in one big seamless carnival. Plot? Um... Fandom is a huge crazy pinball machine of sexual energy? People are weird? Being alive is great? I'm sure Danny and Brett would agree.

:D Isn't it? She's so talented. I don't normally go for multifandom vids, but that one's really worth watching, and just seeing Brett and Danny in there with the others makes me squeal.

Hm, my understanding of her plan was that it's "songvid oddities" as she said -- teeny splinter fandoms and things like the Bayeux Tapestry, not multifandom vids like this, which are quite common. I certainly didn't mean to step on any toes.

And I agree that this vid doesn't have much Persuaders content, which I did try to make clear in the rec, but again, there is *so* little Persuaders stuff out there, that personally, I'm excited by anything I come across, and I wanted to share it with people.

But it's probably good that you commented to point that out, in case I got anybody's hopes too far up! Thanks, in fact. :)

And the ridiculous thing is, I had clips of that disco incident in Persuaders on the timeline when I was making the vid - along with a more extended version of the Greek dance scene with the plates smashing over the head in I-Spy - but I just couldn't make the timing work. So sorry!

I had clips of that disco incident in Persuaders on the timeline when I was making the vid - along with a more extended version of the Greek dance scene with the plates smashing over the head in I-Spy - but I just couldn't make the timing work.

I figured it was something like that. Well, you spared everyone's eyes, anyway! *g* And seriously, it was such a thrill just to see them at all. As well as Sentinel, Due South, and other loves.

Yes, but I was saving that to rec that later this month on Friday Night Drive-In, the crack_van vid rec night, since it's the only full Persuaders vid currently online that I know of. (There's so little Persuaders content out there, I asked if I could also rec a multifandom vid for crossover day.) Thank you, though! I would have hated to miss that vid if I hadn't known about it.
