Why this must be read: penknife's "Proper Pirates" has quickly become one of the classics of this fandom. It was written before At World's End came out--but certain similarities between the story and actual events in the final film just show penknife's superb insight into the characters. Well, except for the threesome sex part, which I somehow doubt Disney would have allowed.
