Ten Nonlinear Moves, by Sequitur (PG)

Hi, I’m [livejournal.com profile] chaletian, and I will be driving the NCIS van this month, which is vee exciting indeed.

Fandom: NCIS
Pairing: Gen
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] sequitur_fic
Author Website: FF.net page
Why this must be read: In the hiatus between series 3 and 4, Tony has to take charge. The team dynamic is, to my mind, one of the best things about NCIS, and this fic captures perfectly the way the characters interact. It’s sweet and a bit painful and very funny, with some ace characterisation.

He only tries Agent Lee once. “Snakes on a Plane?”

“Is it required?”

He blinks at her. “Is it required?”

“Required viewing. It is about a terrorist attack, isn’t it?”

“It’s about snakes on a plane,” Tony says.

Michelle Lee wrinkles her nose. “I don’t really like snakes, sir.”

“But,” Tony says, “they’re on a plane.”

She doesn’t get it.

I laugh, and cry, every time I read this one. One of my favourites, as well as the companion story that goes with it. Awesome rec.

Sequitur is such an amazing writer.
