The main episode being referred to in this story is The Homecoming, in which Anna and Summer both make a play for Seth at the same time, like within mintues of each other. Seth tries to have his cake and sassy Pittsburgh girls too, but it doesn't exactly work out for anybody.

And maybe Seth did want to make out with Anna -- that was fine with Summer. Anna had a bad attitude -- but nice lips, and good taste in earrings; Seth could do a lot worse.
