I know I’ve been a little mean this month, so now I’m going to give you a long, engrossing love story and a landmark fic in the Smallville fandom. 3IT is a must read for any newbie.

Like all the best love stories, it hurts a little, and while you’re hurting you can almost hear Jenn laughing at your pain. See, Clark realizes what Lex means to him just when Lex has not only resigned himself to never having Clark, but found someone not-Clark whom he’s happy – truly happy – with.

Clark is terrified of losing Lex and Lex is terrified none of it’s real. And while a part of you just knows they’ll get together in the end, because theirloveissopure, it’s seldom clear that Jenn knows that the way that you do. It’s tortuous, really. And crazy-romantic.

I love this fic so much. It was my all-time favorite fic for ages, but the fandom produces so much good stuff I don't think I could actually pick a favorite anymore.

Clexy goodness

Mmmm, yummy.

I just loved the way that Clark finally gave up trying to be the martyr and actually took control of the situation, seducing Lex and just not letting up. The way that their closeness made so many parts of the relationship changes easier.

Jenn writes such lovely Lex - captures so much of the character, and her Clark is an intoxicating blend of screwed up human and god-like alien.

I could beg and plead for more, but for now I'll just say that if she writes it, I'll read it.
