Why this must be read:
My first slash rec is by Taliesin, a long-time WWW and Man From UNCLE writer. Her UNCLE/WWW crossover was in fact previously recced here oncrack_van. She's also the publisher of the main zine in the fandom Gentlemen Never Tell, which will publishing it's 10th issue later this spring.
This is a first time story, a first meeting story (something the canon doesn't provide) and a spin on the old fanfic cliche of "sharing a bed".
Also a good example of the historical accuracy the fan writers strive for (that the shows writers often didn't!) --- Taliesin has clearly done research on frontier hotels!
