Seth and Summer have been called the Xander and Cordelia of The O.C.. She's the shallow, popular girl, and he's the unrepentant geek, but when they're together magic happens. Magic in the form of snark and then kissing and then more snark. Here Zahra does what she normally does, which is nail all the dialogue and the funny, quirky Seth-voice, as Seth and Summer try to sort out their relationship. Through snark and kissing. Mmmn. In the interest of full discloure, I should probably mention that this story was written to fill my request in the OC Flashficathon. Not that that's why I'm reccing it. Or maybe it is.

"Don't tell me that hurt," she whispers in his ear as he doubles over in pain. The look he gives her says it all though. At least he hopes it does, because really, she's killing him here. Then she purses her lips in annoyance, and he forgets to complain.

"Don't be such a wimp," she says, kissing him lightly before walking away.
