I love "what became of Napoleon and Illya after what we see on the series" fic, but

soulsistahslash's epic is one of the best fleshed out I've seen in reconciling a vision of a modernized UNCLE that still has our two favorite Enforcement agents (sorry, Mark and April) as key players in all of their wisdom. It's a lot of fun to see Napoleon and Illya mentoring the up-and-coming, unlikely duo Cooper and Duncan, who serve as perfect counterparts for what they used to be but still are. The original characters are well fleshed out without taking time away from our main spy guys, a challenging feat that the author masterfully balances against a realistic and engrossing plot. Funny, engaging and occasionally tender without being maudlin, this is a fun story that makes all of us wish we could be UNCLE agents, too.
