Vid Rec: Sister Golden Hair by Mary Van Deusen
Vidder: Mary Van Deusen
Musical artist: America
Song: Sister Golden Hair
Pairing: gen, although you could interpret certain moments as Napoleon/Illya if you wanted to (I know, I know, cop out answer)
Vidder sites: Her MFU Vids Page
Why this vid kicks ass:
It made me ridiculously happy when Mary came out with a string of her high quality, beautifully edited MFU videos a couple of months ago - seriously, I downloaded all of them and still watch them when my mood could use a pick me up. There's more than a touch of humor in a number of them (I almost picked her hilarious "So Long, Mom," which pulls off the miraculous feat of redeeming the Super Colossal Affair as a comic gem), but the thoughtful choice of song lyrics and the 60's folk vibe makes "Sister Golden Hair" one of my favorites of hers.

Thanks for recommending them. I'm not into the fandom, but I have very fond memories of watching the show and these are a great reminder of how many good episodes there were. I understand your frustration -- it's hard to pick a favorite!
