Yep. 'fraid so. Coming so late to this reccing lark it isn't easy to find good stuff that hasn't already been rec'd - everything Cord Smithee *genuflects* ever wrote, for instance.

There's a fab one of Keelywolfe's that I was going to rec last night (because it's a fave of mine) but, sure enough, there it was in crack van memories. (But not since 2004). Hell, I might just rec it anyway - it's so good.

Any tips for avoiding yawns from cousins bored with the same old stuff?

BTW I'm planning to rec the "Snake in the Garden of Eden Affair" this evening as, until you tracked down a viable link, it's been impossible for folk to access.

This is more advice than you want. Never ask a librarian where to look for stuff.

You have one good thing going on right now - a lot of stories move from zine to internet during June right after Media West convention.

You can also look at muncle and mfuwss memories. I go far back in them looking for stories. And I like the "Relative Secrecy" link; I wish Marion still printed it. http://users.frii.com/wanderer/online.html.

Lastly, you can try Ravenslair, although it's awful to search, http://www.ravenslair.net/ and The Wonderful World of Makebelieve.

If there is an author you like, find their homepage from one of their stories, and see what else is there.

I really wish Cord was still writing, but I don't think we'll see anything more.
