Why this must be read:
Reccing any ofst_crispins work is really a no-brainer. IMHO she's the author of the most comprehensive collection of canon MFU fic on the web - all of it sturdily written and backed by her encyclopaedic knowledge of the series and the era.
I recommend you read this one on days when the world feels all too pink as it's pretty bleak. It's set in 1969 and the changes in the social and political climate of the time have echoes in the agents lives and careers. Choices are made which have far-reaching consequences and, in the author's words, "nothing will ever be the same".
Read it with something in a glass, or a box of Kleenex (or - maybe both...)
