Why this must be read:   This nine part series makes a crossdressing Clark believable.  I didn't think it was possible when I first started reading, but the author really makes it work.

Clark picked up a large brush and a small pot, swirling the brush in it, then tapping it on the side. He swept the brush over his cheeks, then briefly over his eyelids, nose and chin. The colour was so subtle, you could barely tell it was there and yet, somehow, it sharpened Clark's cheekbones and brightened his whole face.

This is set after Clark's summer in Metropolis and his crossdressing is one of the things he discovered about himself while there and one of the ways he is dealing with the guilt of what he did after he came back.  Besides a great Smallville story filled with strong characterizations (although slightly altered from canon), great descriptive language, and hot sex, it is also a look at a small part of the crossdressing lifestyle.
