Why this must be read:

My first thought for the last House rec of July was to recommend bironic's gorgeous and melancholy "Untouchable," which would fit with the unintentional theme for this month's recs.

My second thought was to recommend "A Princeton Odyssey" or one of the sestinas, given that Bironic is the poet laureate of the House fandom. (Fan poetry? Seriously? Oh, yes. Yes yes yes.)

My third, and truly best, thought was that we should close our time together with something fun, warm, and even romantic, in a House sort of way:
