While this is first and foremost an Ezri Dax vignette, I love how she perceives Captain Sisko here. Memories reveals that how Ezri sees Sisko is influenced by Starfleet gossip, a truly bizarre first impression, and some unexpected memories from her symbiont.
In this short but sweet fic, kbk gave me new insight into the internal balancing act required by newly joined Trills, and a new found respect for Ezri Dax.
