The Collator's Den link isn't live, but you could fix that by coding it the same way you did the story link -- Perhaps put Fawsley at the Collators' Den in the bit between > and

Well, the good thing is that all the information is there and the links are all working.

As to the spacing, it's just a matter of whatever posting window you have open isn't recognizing it. Hit the edit button and just use your enter key to re-enter the spaces. As long as you don't touch any of the coding nothing should go wrong. If you're not just down to your last nerve already, in which case let it stand.

Yay for you getting it fixed. I sweated buckets over coding when I first started posting stories. starwatcher307 has a lot of easily understood explanations for coding, if you are interested.

I does NOT help that every time I go to edit, it puts me back in Rich Text, and then when I cut and past back to html, the stupid ticky box resets. At least I know now. Maybe the next rec will take less than 40min to get right.

I must say that now I look back on it, I really wish I'd cut that intro para, but what's done is done and that's the way it was posted so I'm not going to alter it, rather see it as a reminder to cut cut cutty cut at every possible turn! Though now I'm cutting Sam and Gene as I can't see me writing any more of them in the immediate and perhaps longer term future. It was fantastic fun but I don't have the faith to go on any more. But it's lovely to end with your reccing this one!

I have told you before (more than once I think) how much I love this fic. I practically signed up to rec here in hopes that I could post this one, and doing so was worth the 40 min coding drama. I am sorry to hear we won't be getting any more Sam and Gene from you but I hope you had fun. This one will continue to get read (by me and anyone who will listen to me) for a long time yet.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the coding drama, but that makes me only doubly chuffed that you persevered! I certainly have had much fun writing Sam and Gene (and creepy TCG now and again) but now in a situation where I've been backed into a corner or should that be out of the door by person or persons that will remain nameless and don't have it in me to fight. But the fics will remains where they were unless of course LJ goes under which it seriously looks like doing!
