Why this must be read:  Katrina (aka The Divine Adoratrice) wrote in two fandoms: The Sentinel and due South. So this cross is a natural for her. Blair travels to Chicago to meet with a colleague and Jim tags along. The guys step into a case of stolen artifacts and rituals meant to be performed during an upcoming eclipse. They join forces with a very polite Mountie and a reluctant Chicago PD cop.

 

Written well before TS’s second season was over, the dissertation hasn’t become the villain yet and Blair is a little young here. He’s smart and energetic, and just a little whiney that Jim doesn’t want to announce they are “out” to the entire world. However, it’s an easy-going story set in the dS universe where, of course, they have to stop to fix Ray’s mother’s furnace before they capture the bad guy.

Wow, I'm so jealous! You were reading back when this was new! I've only been in the fandom for a few years, but I'm awed at the talent old and new in TS.

I really like Katrina's work and I almost never see TS/dS crosses, so I was delighted to come across it.
