This is a Michael POV in which he thinks about being an alien and finds out how human he really is. It focuses on Liz but it's really about all of Michael's relationships, much more a gen story than a romantic one.
The prose is simple and precise and has a flow to it that leads the story forward. It reads almost like poetry. In short, it is a lovely and beautifully written story.
