Why this must be read:

This time around, Nick's on evidence clear-out duty and there's a little something special waiting for him in the garage.

American Classic isn't an epic fic, and it doesn't explore the rights and wrongs of this somewhat obscure pairing, but that's ok, because it's light-hearted and it does leave you with a little grin at the end ('cause really, who can't relate to wanting to own a Harley ;) ). Angst is great in small doses, but personally I need some nice and fluffy fics amongst my reading material every now and then, and in that regard this is one of my favs for this show. The character voices are right on, and Cath and Nick getting up close and personal on a bike seems perfectly natural, and actually quite hot.

Definitely agreed. There's something irresistable about a Harley - - and all the "Easy Rider" references were fun.
