Why this must be read:selenak is one of my favourite authors in any fandom. This is a lovely story about the Third Doctor and Jo Grant: five incidents that capture their characters and relationship perfectly. It gave me the final nudge to start watching Old Who anf for that I am forever grateful. :)
“Come on, Doctor,” Jo said. “You must have had a favourite Beatle. Everyone did.” Wistfully, she added: “I have the White Album signed by all four. Do you think they’ll ever get together again?”
“I know they won’t,” the Doctor said truthfully, and Jo looked crushed.
