Why this must be read:
What is nice about many Tour of Duty authors is that even though they have a favourite pairing they write stories featuring different pairings. This story features another "rare pairing". Myron and Doc suffer internally a lot through the series as characters and this story explores how maybe they could find some solace from the heartache with each other.
No one could be more surprised than he when he realized he was approaching Goldman’s quarters. The officer’s side of the camp was NOT along the way to Team Viking’s hootch. Confused, Doc stopped dead in his tracks and shook his head.
What the hell had gotten into him?
The sound of a screen door slamming back on its hinges had Doc looking up in time to see Goldman walking down the steps. Doc stepped quickly into the shadows, praying the other man didn’t see him.
