Kendreague by Callista Mythol (R)

bananacosmic and I'll be driving the van this month. As I major in Gibbs/DiNozzo and minor in DiNozzo/McGee, those two pairings will be the main focus of this month's drive. There will be a story or two that are gen too, but probably no other pairings - I don't really read any other pairings.
I look for good characterization, good plot, good grammar/spelling and that little something extra in fics - and those are the fics I will rec here. I hope you stick with me and find a new gem or two :)

Why this must be read:
The first rec of the month is from my favorite genre - I am terribly fond of all things supernatural. This fic has all the lovely supernatural stuff that I adore, tied into a world that is otherwise not really magical. Tony is a Kendreague, a guardian angel. Three guesses on who his charge is? Gibbs, of course.
The first two parts of this deals with Gibbs realizing that Tony is his guardian angel, whom Gibbs banished when he was little. The fic also has a side of very cool Abby.
Excerpt
Gibbs rubbed at his eyes tiredly before resorting to pressing the heels of his palms into them instead, leaning back in his chair as he did so and releasing a heavy sigh. Moving them to slide back through his hair he sighed heavily before leaning back in to look at his computer, the report he was writing glaring at him.
He really hated this day.
Groaning he made to stand and go get himself some more coffee having already finished the one Tony had, out of the blue, brought him. A gesture that touched Gibbs more than he was willing to admit.
As he did though Tony himself came round the corner and they bumped lightly. A shock of warmth ran through him and Gibbs froze as he simply absorbed it. Tony however quickly held up one hand as he continued on his hurried way.
“Sorry Boss.”
Gibbs was still standing stock still, his shoulder tingling pleasantly and he turned to watch as Tony disappeared around the corner again, stunned. Mindlessly he reached up to rub at his shoulder before softly whispering, “No problem.”
