Why this must be read: I'd never considered this pairing before, but it makes perfect sense in this story (you know, I accidentally wrote "perfect sex" first, which is kind of an accurate Freudian slip *g*). Fraser and Kowalski are an established couple in this story, and Elaine is a fellow cop and friend of theirs. I love the Elaine POV in this, and the relationship that she has with Fraser and Ray. The sex is hot like burning, and what's more, it has a wonderful sense of companionship and playfulness.
