Why this must be read:

Adam/Edge is one of my favourite pairings, and Button Theory epitomises why I love them so much. For one thing, they're in the baby!U2 era, which is always a winner. For another, in a short fic, Frog paints the guys vividly, keeping them wholly in character, and creates something not just hot but funny, too. The story is peppered with words and phrases that are so 'them', such as Adam's snobby disdain for their accommodation, and Edge's dialogue.

I think it's difficult to keep a fic featuring masturbation from becoming sleazy or pointlessly, boringly graphic, but Frog succeeds in this case with the smart interaction between Adam and Edge, and the lovely subtle way she has Edge get Adam's attention, and then vice versa. It's sweet and well-written, and a great example of great fic sex.
