Why this must be read:
Back in 2003 when crack_van started, the very first story recommended for Man From UNCLE was by Nataliya. She continues to get mentioned regularly because, darn it, she's good.

In this story, the agents are on a train hiding from Thrush. Most of the story involves the interaction between the two men, especially because Napoleon has forced Illya to wear a dress to evade Thrush, causing you to expect something like "Some Like It Hot" but Nataliya throws you a curve.

In addition, you can also feel Illya beginning to think more and more about Napoleon as the evening progresses until the expected occurs.

Illya's mumble was followed by a cry of alarm at the next discovery. "A GIRDLE?"

"It'll hold the stockings up," Napoleon said, "and your, uh, attributes in."

Illya began to tug it on.

"Don't forget to shave your legs."

Illya squinted at his partner. "Don't forget I have a gun."

Napoleon held his breath briefly. "It's for world peace, Illya.

Illya muttered something on his way to the bathroom and Napoleon knew better than to ask him to repeat the comment.
