Why this vid kicks ass: Honestly, there was a time everyone on LJ seemed to be in love withcalapine's first version of this vid, while my reaction was a decided "meh." However, she recently redid it, and this version is SO MUCH BETTER. The visuals and the lyrics are more synchronized this time, and the parallels--such as the many images of Sarah Jane throughout time or the era-spanning Doctor/Master moments--are stronger. Even if you didn't like the original vid or aren't a fan of Classic Who, I'd still recommend giving this redo a try.
