Why this must be read:

This first-time Clex gets me every damn time. If you like the boys circa season one, this one's for you. It's set on a stormy night in the castle, which helps get you in the mood from the beginning. The energy is palpable in this fic. You can't help but be carried along with the current – I still find myself holding my breath as I read it.

I think the thing I like best about this fic is the realism. It's all plausible, with no unaddressed issues lying in the background to distract the reader. I like my fic believable, and this one rings so true to me. If it happened between the boys, I'd like to think it started like this. Not perfect, but *real*.
