Some of the best AUs come about when an author takes the road unchosen. Like, what if Kowalski and Fraser had taken those transfers at the end of Mountie on the Bounty? I prefer to think it would have taken them right where Hth leads. Fraser is Fraser here, deep and competent and fascinating and infuriating. Kowalski is Kowalski, illogical, frenetic, impulsive, and needy. Even Vecchio makes an extended cameo and there's some good Ray vs. Ray banter. It's funny, it's touching, it's fulfilling - so go read it already.
Are you seriously -- seriously telling me that you followed me all the way to Nunavut after more than a year in order to hear me say that you were right and I was wrong?
