Hey there, spastic_visions here to be reccing you all Dark Angel fics for the small fandom month. For those of you interested, the fandom overview is here. I'm a gen fic fan first and foremost but I have a soft spot for Max and Logan and will read just about anything.

Why this must be read: This was the story that got me hooked on fanfiction. A golden oldie. It's an AU wherein Max never escaped Manticore and she's sent on a mission... to kill Logan Cale. The Max in the story is colder then we're used to and the Logan is the same way but you can still see the ones we know. The climax of this story is heartbreaking and unexpected and stays with you for a long, long time.


It's snowing. Heavily. My trained instinct thinks that this snow will cover the tracks nicely. Not that it matters anyway. The days of secret missions are over. What we do might not be constitutional, but everyone in their right mind knows it's legit now. Follow, or die. Very clear choices.

I decide to go through the front door. I can slip into the target's apartment without breaking a sweat, but I know from the files I've read that the place is heavily guarded with high-tech equipments. In this case, it's better just to walk right in.

Of course, I know a perfect way to make any man open his door for me.
