My last rec was a teeny bit depressing, so here's a little something to make you smile:

Why this must be read:
Summary: The Autobots like to MST3K Top Gear.
As I mentioned before, this fandom tends to produce serial standalones that build to a large epic... This is (another) one of them--don't despair at the 5/71 part number! Each part is complete, and this one can stand alone, I promise. Also, the series is up to 55/80 at this point, and she updates regularly. This crossover is from early in the Borealis AU, and it is a scream.
Top Gear is a show about cars. The Transformers look like cars. It is a crossover made in heaven and this one absolutely nails it. You can even enjoy the story even without knowing anything about Top Gear because the dialogue is spot on, and those men are damn funny.
If some of the nuances you pick up from the characters interaction bug you, reading the other stories in the Borealis AU will help. You won't regret it.
