Shuffle by Susan (R)
Hi all, I'm Nyssa, and I'll be driving the S&H van this month! There's about 30 years worth of awesome fic in this fandom, but I've managed to find a few gems that have not yet been recced here. They will all be slash, simply because that's what I like, and because I just can't see this show any other way. Maybe that's my own limitation, but I hope you enjoy it. :-)
Fandom: Starsky and Hutch
Pairing: Starsky/Hutch
Length: 4543 words
Author on LJ:
sjames_centre
Author website: Most of Susan's stuff can be found here: http://shslash.kassidyrae.com/fiction.html
Why this must be read: Susan's fic abounds with sharp observations, pitch-perfect dialogue, and lovely angst. I really can't say enough about her. This particular fic is a perfectly-wrought AU which gives us Hutch as an unhappily married lawyer, Starsky as an unhappily married cop with a hankering for guys, and a few other familiar faces skewed just enough to make things fascinating. Throw in a murdered woman, a marital split, and a recurring poker motif, and you've got one of the best S&H AU's I've read.

Thank you for letting me know. *g* I've been dutifully adding those quote marks ever since I started on LJ and was told to do it that way.
Hmmm... I wonder just how much wasted time that adds up to... time I could have been flashslashing. *g*

Hmmm... I still haven't had the nerve to look at your challenge that had Gloriana making "Eeeep" noises.
That would be like taking a whipping, right? *g*
