Autre Ne Vueil by Geekwriter (NC-17)
Woo! I'm back for a second turn at the wheel, and this time I get to rec The Love aka, Nick and Greg from CSI. THEY ARE ADORABLE AND SEXY WOOBIES IN LOVE!!! *ahem* I mean, I greatly enjoy their onscreen relationship as it has been shown in CSI's many seasons. Though I will probably only rec fic set from S.1 to S.7 when the height of all their heartbreak and manpain occurs. Hmm, that sounds like I'm all about whumpage and I'm not. I like any and every kind of fic, and, amazingly, the N/G fandom has given me every type of fic from angst to fluff to first times to AU to humor to smut to established relationship drama. Yay! For I am greedy and they are cute. (I love the rest of the family team too, but I think I have too many N/G recs to get around to them this time around. Sorry.)

Why This Must Be Read:
Autre Ne Vueil takes repressed!Nick and makes him about as adorable as he is on the show whenever he's confronted with evidence of any alternative sexualities (which happens quite a bit actually. Thank you, kinky CSI writers). Which means blushing and loud insistence that he isn't like that, and then staring and lip licking and returning again and again to the subject. It also blends Nick-in-denial with romantic!Nick and then Nick's got what could be a serious problem on his hands. See, he's started a friends-with-benefits thing with a coworker. With a male coworker. With Greg. And frankly, he doesn't know what to do, since all he apparently wants is to be around Greg all the time and do loving yet sexy things with him. The poor thing can't tell if he's weirded out by penis or weirded out by the casual screwing.
This situation could be filled with angst, but geekwriter keeps it fairly light, showing how Nick keeps forcing down all his feelings of confusion and jealousy and desire and love and telling himself that sex with Greg doesn't mean anything until somethings gotta give, and in Nick's case, this means punching through a window.
I should mention that her Greg in this story is fantastic. He's an adult who knows what he wants (Nick) and he goes for it, fully aware that he could get hurt and yet knowing he's strong enough to take it if he does. That Nick is worth it. He's also pretty damn hot. (Oh did I mention this story features some hot sexin'? Well it does. Sweet and sexy and that's hard to do).
"I did. I just...I didn't expect this. Did you?"
Greg nodded. "Yeah, actually."
"You could have clued me in."
"Sorry. I didn't think even you had enough denial to ignore it."
"I have more denial than you can imagine."
