Why this must be read: Rae wrote this fic in response to CindyR's awesome vid of the same title. The story attempts to explain what's going on in the vid, but even if you don't watch it (you should; the link is with the fic) you'll be blown away by the beautiful, angsty writing. "Here Without You" begins with the guys apart, in the aftermath of a wrenching breakup. Naturally, that's a situation that can't continue. This is an adult story devoid of cutesiness and filled with longing.
