Why this must be read: Corgigirl took a pairing I'd never have thought of and made it completely believable, and beautiful, while not flinching away from the hard realities that would come along with it. To my knowledge there's nothing else like this in the fandom, and the character insights are as astute as always with this author. Written before "A Simple Explanation", this is set a few years into a future that is now thoroughly AU, with a quiet, delicate texture that makes you miss Kutner all over again.
