Why this must be read: Noun 1. whipstitch - a stitch overlying an edge to prevent unraveling. That's what House does for Wilson here, but in surprising ways that we usually don't see in fanfiction. Wilson's POV here is realistic and refreshing, and we see a part of his life that the show -- and other stories -- just don't give us. If you're interested in the reasons Wilson needs House, in all his assholish glory, you'll love this.
