Why this must be read:

I am a HUGE fan of vampire fics, well written, humorous and intriguing fics with well rounded characters and a plot, of sorts. This amazing story set the bar for anything else I read these days. It's got everything from witty dialogue, mystery, vampires, werewolves and a little sexy time bloodplay. Well, of course - there's vampires in it.

Essentially, ethrosdemon has a way of writing that allows to see into the characters heads. The characters have an actual development arc and grow as people (or supernatural beings) as th case may be.

GO READ IT, and then dig through her archives for fantastic fics across many fandoms.
