Why this must be read: This really is a hidden gem! Until recently lost in the vaults of Ravens Lair under the curse of the Turkish Hacker, this is a long, plotty adventure with lots of twists and turns, and great characterisation for Napoleon. Although the story has a few minor faults, it is eminently readable, requires minimal suspension of disbelief, and has a believable backstory for Napoleon. A treat!
Napoleon's past comes back to haunt him - and Illya lets something unexpected slip just at the wrong moment.
