Then I started reading, and with the good RayK voice, the Ray/Ray snark without a lot of animosity, and the feeling of partners growing into more, I was so, so happy. Well, I can take angst if there's a payoff in the end, but it really is refreshing not to have it.

And I love the "beginning as buddies" plot.
