VID REC: NCIS - (I Would) Be the One

Why this vid kicks ass:

I think the better question is, how does this vid not kick ass? Because it does, on so many levels.

I know that Vid Recs were for yesterday, but it slipped my mind because I was so busy (even though I had already picked something out! *facepalm*). I would have felt like a heel if I didn't get the chance to get this in, so I hope it's not too bad. :-(

This video actually tells a story, about the progression of Gibbs' and Tony's relationship, and how much they're scarred by their past. There's a some angst, a little implied sex, and a whole lot of love. It positively shines in the two of them in this vid, and it's heartbreakingly beautiful. This video is extremely well edited - the sequences are well thought out, and make sense. It's a story one can really get into.

Luthien is such a talented vidder, and I've loved every one of her videos. After watching this one (because, really, you have to - it's obligatory!), do go check out her other vids!

I made two totally silly little gen vids though, if anyone's interested...? It's the NCIS opening à la Buffy and Friends. Yes, I know...

Um - well, according to Luthien, her homepage is down, so that's probably why that one doesn't work. As for the other two, they work for me - maybe YouTube is just being stupid?

Aw man, that sucks! But that's really weird, because it worked for me earlier. At first, it took me to this stupid ad, but then I did some fiddling (I think I got the URL directly by right clicking on the link, and I may have done something else), and then it worked. But now I can't do anything with it. Weird.

Yeah, I don't know what the heck the problem is. The site sometimes works and then it doesn't, and then it does again. It's weird and annoying but they don't give any straight answers. Then again, it's for free so... guess I have to live with it for now.
