This is a really neat casefile with a fantastic Abby voice and a great resolution. The burgeoning Gibbs/Abby relationship feels organic and natural, as is the rest of the casts' interactions. Very highly recommended!

It's kind of scary how she's starting to become a real pro at this being held hostage thing. But what's even scarier is that every time before this, Gibbs has always been out there somewhere. Gibbs and Tony and Ziva and Tim. Who the Hell is going to rescue her if Gibbs is in here, *too*?

As if he can read her mind --and, who knows, maybe he can-- the asshole laughs again, moving just close enough so that she can feel the barrel of the gun, cool against the back of her neck. "As you can see, Gibbs won't be doing the rescuing this time. This time, it's all up to you, Miss Sciuto."

"ME?" she squeaks it out before she can help herself, suddenly *really* wishing she'd had that first Caf-Pow.

"Yes. Special Agent Gibbs' fate is in *your* hands," her captor says, sounding like the world's worst robot villain.

She stares down at her reddened palms, trying to flex her arms against the impossibly tight nylon cords.

Suddenly, her hands have never seemed smaller.
