Why this must be read: One of the easiest ways into a series for a fanfic writer is to imagine those in-between scenes. What happened during that commercial break? What didn't the audience see?

Here, Lucy sets the scene just prior to Sam and G's stakeout in the episode "Search and Destroy" (1.4) - you know the one that involves lollipops and origami? Yeah. Here's the "Before." You can imagine the "After."

G licked his lips, tasting mildly tart sugary-sweetness, before he slowly brought the candy to his mouth, savouring the slightly sticky exterior with just the tip of his tongue, swirling it around the rounded edge, before descending down to the slightly protruding ridge in the middle.

"I know a guy who'll pay five hundred an hour if you let him film you doing that."
