Ray would have thought that adventuring with Benny across the frozen Yukon, or whatever, would have satisfied the snow lust of any born and bred Chicago guy. Only now, Kowalski looked like he’d been having the time of his life. His cheeks were pink with the cold, his eyes were sparkling and his cheeks were creased in a huge grin. From all the noise coming from the backyard it looked like he’d attracted every kid in the neighborhood. Ray, God help him, fell in love all over again.
