Why this vid kicks ass:
Because it's funny and clever and made me smile. In some ways, it's an obvious musical/thematic choice. There's even a direct canon connection of sorts between the two. That doesn't diminish the fact that the vid works quite well. The parallels between the lives of the two fictional characters, Hornblower and Don Quixote, match up surprisngly--even uncannily--well. Best of all, the vid puts a nicely ironic spin on the grand naval hero's tale that is interesting and rather amusing to see. And Sancho cracks me up every time. It's an enjoyable vid and well worth downloading. As always, remember to right click and save.
