And now we’ve arrived at the first comm I ever posted in,
ds_flashfiction. It’s a fabulous challenge comm that I can’t rec highly enough. There are hundreds and hundreds of terrific stories, easily found either by tag or in memories.

I totally agree that this scenario could have happened with either Ray. But I believe that in this case, the Ray she's written is RayK.

Except that the Rays are not interchangeable, they are unique and different. If you set aside the blond nephew, and the fact that in the comments of the fic
Maybe the idea was to have the reader choose a Ray, If it wasn't, I really wish people would stop assuming that "Ray" automatically means Kowalski.
