Ooh, thanks for this one! It even works now that we've met Tony Sr., because I can totally see his multiple wives and con-artist ways as Napoleon's personality gone to extremes. How fun is it that Napoleon Solo would morph his name into something equally Italian (DiNozzo) when he left UNCLE, and that his grandson would pick up his grandda's law-enforcement career?

I was worried about rec'ing it because it's so short but it's just so wonderful I felt it needed to be spotlighted.

I just peeked and Robert Wagner is actually 2 years older than Robert Vaughn!

I just figured Napoleon was his maternal grandfather, which is why they didn't have the same last name. They do both have beautiful smiles and a very charming manner; I've always thought that from reading this short piece that Tony adored his grandda and (because I think about these things too much) and even maneuvered himself into position where he could catch Gibbs' eye to get hired at NCIS for his grandda so he could keep an eye on Illya for him.

Now we know that's totally AU but it's a fun idea to play with, I think.
