Hi, I'm
thady, your driver for Bandom this month. Let's start with one of my favorites that I regularly re-read.
Fandom: BANDOM
Pairing: Joe Trohman/Mikey Way
Length: ~ 4,100 words
Author on LJ:
falter
Author websites: none that I know
Why this must be read: I have a huge hankering for apocalyptic stories, and how people deal (or not deal) with the changed world.
What amazes me here is the world-building and how much is said with sparse words.
This is so heartbreaking. There is a shimmering of hope though. I love Joe's voice, it rings true to me. I like the pacing, and the progression of Joe and Mikey's relationship.
